Warranty Document

WARRANTY COVERAGE

  • What’s covered: we guarantee our products are free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use. 

  • Warranty period: your warranty is valid for a period of 5 years from the date or original purchase. 

  • Products included: this warranty covers all fencing products supplied by Mako Solutions. 

WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS: 

This warranty doesn’t cover:

  • Normal wear and tear, like fading, discolouration, or scratches. 

  • Damage from improper installation, maintenance, or misuse. 

  • Damage from natural disasters, accidents, or external forces. 

  • Repairs or changes made by unauthorised people. 

  • Products used for purposes other than those intended by the manufacturer. 

  • Damage from exposure to chemicals or harsh environments. 

WARRANTY CLAIM PROCEDURE

  • Notify us: let us know in writing within 30 days of discovering a defect. 

  • Proof of purchase: provide your receipt or invoice and a detailed description of the defect. 

  • Inspection: we might inspect the product on-site or ask for photos. 

  • What we’ll do: if the product is found to be defective under the terms of this warranty, Mako Solutions will, at its discretion, repair or replace the defective product free of charge. 

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY

  • Warranty scope: this is the sole and exclusive warranty provided by Mako Solutions. No other warranties expressed or implied, are provided. 

  • Liability limit: Mako Solutions liability under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective product. In no event shall Mako Solutions be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of profits, or loss of goodwill. 

GOVERNING LAW

  • Jurisdiction: this warranty is governed by New Zealand law. 

  • Dispute resolution: any disputes arising from this warranty shall be resolved through good faith negotiations. If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute shall be submitted to mediation before proceeding to litigation.
